A Home renovation show wher one project is selected per episode that highlights shoddy contracting work or irresponsible contractors. The Holmes crew moves in and corrects the problem. "Holmes on Homes" debuted in January 2001 and was first aired on the HGTV channel in Canada. On June 28, 2008, Holmes on Homes returned to the US on Saturday nights being shown on channel TLC its new home. In season #1 this series was a 30-minute long show but in season #3 it was extended to an hour-long series.
